£3k broadband grants for Bristol and Bath businesses: 12th October
New UK Government incentives will shortly be available in the Bristol City Council and Bath & North East Somerset areas to help businesses get gigabit broadband. Come along to the Federation of Small Businesses’ event, as part of Venturefest Bristol & Bath, to find out more about how your business could get a gigabit broadband boost.
South West Business Showcase: 11th October
The 6th Business Showcase South West is on 11th October 2017 at Ashton Gate Stadium. It is an exhibition and networking opportunity, offering a day-long series of business activities, including free workshops run by Facebook and Google.
Digital Bristol Week: 16th – 20th October
As part of this year’s Digital Bristol Week 2017 programme, Business West are hosting a series of events designed to help your business face a competitive digital future. “Our workshops and coffee mornings aim to encourage wide participation and a greater understanding of the digital and innovation skills your business needs, and to share expert local knowledge. Events range from digital workshops to going behind the scenes of some of Bristol’s thriving creative and digital businesses. You’ll also have the chance to meet an expert adviser, with whom you can raise your business issues, challenges and skills needs over a coffee and croissant.”
BBC Digital Skills Day: 16th October
The BBC Academy invites you to join them for a day of free and bespoke training focused on digital storytelling and social media, with access to some of the BBC’s expert trainers. You can choose three sessions, one from each timeslot – some sessions are repeated during the day so that you can attend as many of your preferences as possible.
