Meet Jordan Godwin – the newest addition to our team.
Jordan’s Role as a Senior IT Technician involves helping our clients with a variety of IT issues they encounter.
Being the 2nd line engineer he works very closely with fellow Helpdesk Geeks Syed & Luke. He will act as an escalation point for more complex tickets or he could be the first Geek you will speak to over the phone.
Jordan’s background has always been in the tech industry; starting at a audio visual company and more recently on the helpdesk at Bupa Dental Care. He is now excited to embark on a new exciting journey with Dial A Geek.

What Jordan is hoping to achieve/improve/learn while working for Dial A Geek
‘As a Senior IT Technician at Dial A Geek, I would likely hope to achieve the following:
- Enhance Problem-Solving Skills: I would aim to continue refining my technical troubleshooting abilities by dealing with a wide range of IT issues. This would include improving my capacity to diagnose complex problems quickly and accurately, as well as developing new strategies for tackling recurring or particularly challenging technical issues.
- Broaden Knowledge of Emerging Technologies: The IT landscape is always evolving. I would look to expand my expertise in new technologies such as cloud computing, cybersecurity advancements, and AI-driven tools to ensure that I remain up-to-date with the latest trends and can offer the best solutions to clients.
- Improve Client Interaction and Communication Skills: While technical skills are essential, effective communication with clients is equally important. I would seek to improve my ability to explain complex technical issues in a simple and accessible way, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident in the solutions provided.
- Professional Growth and Certification: I would seek to earn further certifications in areas like cybersecurity, networking, or cloud services, which would not only boost my personal credentials but also enhance the overall service offering of Dial A Geek.’
